Lovely staff and decent breakfast, but the superior room was really small-we got everything we needed though-perfect if visiting the nearby canyon

Helpful staff, the room was very cozy and clean. We saw Aurora Borealis from this place as it is situated a bit far from the city so there was absolutely no light pollution. They have all the amenities so didn't miss being away from the city. Would love to come back. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty but the breakfast was filling.

The location of this hotel fits our trip perfectly. It did not look charming from the outside but it is very cozy inside with country style decorations and family atmosphere. Room is clean, bed comfortable and it's quiet. Breakfast is simple but nice. Hotel staff are knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. There's a self service gas station next to the hotel which is very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel if you need to stop by for overnight stay.

We got here 15 minutes before the restaurant was closing and they were still happy to cook for us. We had the best meal we’ve had so far in Iceland here! The Lamb was so flavorful, the potatoes cooked to perfection, great soup and salad too! The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was soft, shower hot and had fantastic water pressure. There was a beautiful waterfall just 2 minutes down the road. It was the perfect stay.

Cannot recommend. The rooms are clean, but *very* small and have minimal/no furnishings beyond beds. Swimming pool and jacuzzi have been dead for years. Breakfast fair; some "food" was old. The restaurant is nothing to cheer about. Only positive: The staff/workers are punctual, friendly, and helpful.

Aan de buitenkant ziet het gebouw er wat vervallen uit, maar binnen is het een heel wat en gezellig verblijf. Wel een geur van bejaardenhuis.
