"The walk from the subway to the hotel is not ideal, so if you're traveling with luggage, might want to consider another hotel. This might be on us, since our previous hotel let us check in early with no fee, but the person who helped us check in an hour earlier than the start time, didn't tell us that what we were paying for was an early check-in fee and grouped it together with the tourist fee and this should have been clarified to us with the receipt but it was not. "Conveniently located at walking distance from the STR (tram) station Mohnweg, about 25 min ride from the Deutz/Messe Cologne train station. The room was not luxurious, but clean and comfortable. Shower water heats up right away. You need adapters if you come from the US. There is no outlet near the desk. My room was facing the main street, which is very busy. I would ask for a back-facing room unless traffic lulls you to sleep (the window seals the noise out). Breakfast was excellent. Nice...
