Stroll along the historic downtown streets where local shops and cafés buzz with small-town charm. Bike the scenic Madison County Transit trails before catching a performance at the Wildey Theatre, a beautifully restored 1909 opera house.
Came in at 10:00 at night the gentleman at the front desk who is a senior at SIUe was very nice and took an interest in my son who is going to school there in the fall.

The entry was inviting, the room comfortable and well-planned, and the staff was more like the family that you'd want to have. Simply the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at, and wish the big chains learned from their business model!

when we arrived we realized the room we had booked wouldn't work as my mom needed help getting up from the toilet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, moved us to a handicapped room at the same rate and checked to be sure we were comfortable. The next morning as we were leaving to meet family for Thanksgiving we realized we needed ground coffee for the pot and the hotel graciously gave us a package of theirs to take with us.
The rooms were clean, nicely detailed, everything was in good...

In town for the NCAA Tournament with my son. Staff was friendly, and attentive.
Breakfast was honesty the best hotel free breakfast I have had in 5 years if travel hockey.
The parking garage is secured after dark to protect your cars and personal safety coming and going into the hotel.
The area around the hotel is clean, well lit, and feels safe. It is downtown in a major city, so be smart. However there was no feeling of threats.
Work out room was small, but clean with free weights,...

What a great place to stay for a game! You can’t get any closer to the stadium. From the time we arrived to the time we left, everything was great! The parking is easy, garage or outside lot. The staff are super friendly. The rooms were clean and bed was comfy! Breakfast was delicious at the onsite restaurant Clark and Bourbon.

Amazing! Super nice staff (Christie & Jeremi)! They were super sweet and helpful! Explained everything and then some. Could not believe there was a free buffet dinner as well as breakfast! Gained a new loyal guest!

This is a fantastic hotel, especially if you are traveling with kids. The rooms were clean and modern. The amenities were impressive: the free drinks for the adults, and the free breakfast and dinner for kids (and adults.)
It’s close to Forest Park and felt very safe: lots of families and kids. Despite all of the kids, though, my room was super quiet.
Andrew and Kevin at the front desk were super enthusiastic and helpful, and made check-in a breeze. For the price, this hotel is amazing and I...

I traveled to St Louis to attend the Usher concert and only stayed for one night. The hotel was nice and clean, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really nice. The hotel was only about 7 minutes from the concert venue and also a few minutes from Quiktrip and other restaurants. I’d definitely stay again!!
