Three days out for a small trip and I had to spent more days in the hotel then I spent exploring Edmonton, Found something yuck on the hair dryer in the first hotel room within first two hours, got changed into room 2nd (not before getting a expedia agent), got locked in there within the first five minutes, After sobbing for 20 minutes requesting them to charge one night’s money out of my prepaid booking and refund me rest, I even offered to leave my deposit, they won’t let me leave even with me taking a huge loss but was transferred to a better room and was given complimentary water park tickets also the help desk lady showed a lot of compassion gave me hug understanding how overwhelmed and tired I was. It was great for one whole day, I explored west Edmonton mall, I liked my new room but when I arrived back the light in my washroom went out, I informed help desk and assured them I can survive the night and would appreciate being helped the next morning, left another call in the morning as a reminder, called again in the afternoon, after no help for another half an hour went to the help desk myself, The lady told me someone will. come around 2:30, At this point half of my day is gone but planned where I might still be able to go and 2:30 rolls around and no one’s here called again at 2:45, she tells me she’ll send somebody now, waited until 3:30 and called again Had to explain the situation again to the new person, she sends someone right away and he fixes my problem
