Chateau Lacombe Hotel

"Overall, I had a good experience at Chateau Lacombe. The property was well kept, the rooms were decent, and the staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The parking garage felt a bit shady and could use some attention. Also, there doesn’t seem to be proper ventilation in the bathrooms. If you take a hot shower, the steam can build up enough to potentially trigger the alarm, which is definitely something to be aware of. Aside from those issues, I didn’t have any major complaints. If you’re looking for a place that’s mainly somewhere to stay while being conveniently located near Edmonton’s major highway network, this is a decent choice. It’s not a high-end luxury hotel or anything, but it has a decent vibe, the property is reasonably maintained, and the staff definitely add to the experience. Overall, I would give Chateau Lacombe a 7.5/10. Nothing overly fancy, but a solid and decent place to stay if location and value are your priorities"

"I had no issues with the hotel itself. Just some sketchy ppl outside wanting to use my phone, Don't ever give them anything because it will be gone. Overall the stay was fairly quiet, friendly staff and couldn't find any dirty spots in my room. I would definitely stay here again"

Edmonton Hotel and Convention Centre

"Clean rooms, lots of amenities including a decent breakfast. Rates were super reasonable. Overall this was good value."

Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel

8/10 Good

"The Sandman is in a good central location and excellent value. It’s great to have Chop restaurant downstairs and available all day. The hotel is well maintained but needs updating. The staff are amazing! They’re very helpful and unfortunately, they have to respond to an older hotels shortcomings. We did have a positive experience all in all for five days."
