「The accomodation was not as advertised. It was so bad we had to book alternative accomodation elsewhere. So far we have no way of seeking a refund, so we do not recommend Hotels.com to anyone ever! 」

「Great communication from owner before & after stay. property was clean, but tired in places. We were heading to Alton Towers so was a perfectly good place for 1 night at a reasonable price. 」

「Very well maintained apartment with good fixtures and well sized rooms. Had everything we could have needed and also a nice gift on arrival which was well received and indicative of the efforts made to make sure our stay was comfortable. Owner also very approachable before we arrived answering questions and even offering to go over and above to help us out with a request over early parking on site. Would highly recommend.」

「The apartment was okay. Conveniently located for us to walk to town and visit family. We found it a little weirdly set up with things we didn't need, the steamer, the steps, the printer. But we couldn't use the oven - it smoked and the shower was bizarre and we could have used some instructions as it just wouldn't get to a comfortable temperature. We were also a bit put off by the dirty sponges left in the bathroom. Dont think we would stay there again.」

「One day before my family's planned arrival, I received a call from the operator's husband to say there was no hot water and he wanted to give me the opportunity to book an alternative stay. I understood this to mean a refund would be given in this event. It was late to book elsewhere so initially my family agreed to go regardless but as no further communication was forthcoming despite several attempts I booked elsewhere. Despite Consumer protection laws clearly establishing that accommodations...
