The Great Polish Map of Scotland was constructed by Polish veteran of WWII who had spent time in Scotland during the war. The map was constructed in the 1970s and is made of concrete.

Longcote Farm shorn of trees. Most of the trees shown in the previous image 139298 taken in March 2006 have gone three years later, the one remaining being an outlier from the row previously near the farm. This picture was taken close in to the farm, whereas the previous one appears to have been taken using telephoto from the track across the shallow valley near the farm.

Across the road from Haymarket, decent bar adjoining hotel. Room quite small but fine for a couple of nights or so. Only problem was seal on window wasnt great so could hear qind whistling and traffic noise. Black out blind also had a tear which let in light too early. Decent value though.
