"it's a very quaint antique like hotel, every piece of furniture has history. the room is comfortable and has wonderful view look out to the nearby garden. the cow bells sound in the morning is very soothing. it really brings me back to 1900s. the breakfast is delicious. it's a wonderful experience to stay here comparing to a more modern hotel that doesn't have much characters. "We were delighted with our stay at Hotel Neuhausl. I would stay there again if I returned to Berchtesgaden. I used the swimming pool multiple times for my first swimming in years. We ate there every dinner for our 4 day stay because the food was excellent, as were the prices and service. We visited Salzburg Austria and Konigsee. both only 30 minutes or less away. There was always a staff member available that spoke good English and they were helpful. "
