The property was quaint. We were in a cute little cabin, right on the water. For some reason, every cabin had a place to park next to it......except ours, and we had to park by the office about a block away. Not a big deal, but weird. The cabins had wall heaters, and the one in the living area didn't work. (We didn't complain, so it's likely they would have addressed it if we did.) The shower is very tiny, and the showerhead came to my chest (and I'm 5'8"). Their kitchen was adorable and certainly met our needs. They had a nice woodstove, but the wood we got was wet and would never burn. (They provided little "fire starters" that burned great, but the actual wood wouldn't ignite......we have a woodstove at home, we know how to light fires). The big surprise for us was that there was no TV. Fortunately, the weather was clear, so we were out hiking every day. But, if we would have been cabin bound because of the weather, that would have been disappointing. We were about 15" from Moran State Park. What a treasure! Well marked, beautiful hiking trails, not crowded at all (probably since it was December in the PNW!) THe people in the office couldn't have been nicer or friendlier.
Overall, very nice....but working heat and TV would have earned a 5 star rating instead of a 4.
