Traditional but in need of some TLC.
Staff were excellent, room was very good, plenty of room and clean, other than the windows. The communal areas were looking tired. Breakfast was very nice, evening meal was OK. Parking on the road outside, get a ticket from reception for £2 a day. Nice location but a fair walk to the main shopping centre. Although it needs some updating, it is part of its charm. Found a lovely pub close to the rear of the hotel called the marine, lovely atmosphere and superb food at reasonable prices.

Inside layout of the property needs updating. Staff are helpful and polite. Dinner is average and not much choice Breakfast is lovely
