"This property is a hidden gem of a hotel. I love that at reception, you can sit down in a comfortable chair at eye level with the friendly front desk personnel, rather than be stuck standing with your bag as in most hotels. Our room was spotless, beautifully appointed and luxuriously stocked with superior linen and furnishings. The big secret is the Wheeltapper pub off the lobby. It's at once a well worn New York Irish pub and the sexy, cool, speakeasy/bar/restaurant that serves up well prepared pub fare for the hotel. When we were there on a Saturday night, a seven piece Irish folk band set up shop at a large booth in the back and played all evening with guest singers invited to participate in the show. "

"We booked the hotel for a 7 day visit. The location was amazing, especially if your trip is focused on midtown: we walked to Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central, Empire State... lots and lots of food options nearby and an amazing bodega right around the corner and a cozy and delicious little cafe. Shout out to reception desk who were amazing all the time there, the doorman (he rocks), and housekeeping. Everyone was cordial, including the waiters at Take Care restaurant. The room was ample of the 3 of us so we were grateful for that (that was one of the reasons that sold us the hotel) and there were plenty of space for our clothes and luggage. It was also quiet: we requested a quiet room and they gave us one in the corner of the 5th floor. Amazing. It had a view to Lexington street and even so we heard nothing but the occasional door slam (nothing that bothered us) and sometimes a car below, but it was really really quiet!) Our reservation let us choose 2 items every day from their selection, which we liked (apple juice, water bottle, chips, gatorade, etc). We were able to refill our water bottles in the fitness room every day. The restaurant in site, Take Care, is nice and the waiter was amazing, but the pancakes were not tasty"

"As for the property itself, the location was excellent; however, we encountered several issues. For the first two days—while staying in room 3338—the air conditioning was not working. We called multiple times to report the problem, but no one ever came to address it. On the second day, they moved us to a different room—suite 2932—but the air conditioning wasn't working there either. From there, they moved us to room 2813; the AC worked fine in that one, but when my son went to lie down on the sofa bed, it turned out it hadn't been made up. Consequently, I had to give him a sheet from my own bed so he could cover himself."

"Our stay was awesome! It’s in a great location and felt very safe. Our only problem was the sliding bathroom door that wouldn’t stay closed. I’m sure this isn’t a problem in just our room. They really need to fix the doors as the room is already so small so that’s privacy that is much needed. "

"The client service very poor I had to remind them everyday to leave me cups forvthe cofee. They didnt wanted to send me a cofee machine. The cleaness very poor they didnt clean the mirrors. Sometimes they didnt leave the full set of towels in the barhroom. When I cslled to the reception the personal was rude. "
