10/10 Excellent

"Hotel is very pet-friendly and hence the reason for our visit. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage which was ideal for us and our dog. The only criticism is the food at Spike's Bar (at the golf club) was a little bit disappointing."

"The Black Bull is a lovely old building and has loads of character. Despite some reviews we found the locals really friendly and happy to talk. Our 2 Dachshunds loved it. Especially when our young 'Fred' escaped the room and went to the dining room for breakfast,😂no complaints. Down side, room was really hot and needs a fan. Bed was comfy and room was good size. Drinks reasonable price and staff were helpful. Wooler was nice to walk round. Had fish and chips at local which were nice. Barney and Fred gave it a good 🐾 up"
