「It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. 「Excellent accomodation which was dog friendly - lovely walks through spacious gardens and small woodland. Service was also excellent - staff helpful and polite. Dog basket - bowls on request, blanket towel and sleep pad. Worth taking your own dogs beds but these items were useful and practical. Only consideration for next visit is my elderly dog struggled with stairs and I would request a ground floor room if available as no lift 」
