They also make you check-in yourself on one of those impersonal screens, like a cheap and nasty burger joint. So you've go to go through the upsells, and add in all the info to make their life easier, and the greeting non-existent. So much for being "excited to welcome" you to the hotel as their cringe booking confirmation said. And no, you cannot opt out of this, it IS compulsory - so worse that a cheap burger joint - I was led over teacher-style to show me how to type my details into this. About time Expedia had a filter for this kind of cheap "welcome".
The hotel was generally run down - drink stains on the corridor not cleaned, things falling apart in the bathroom. The pool looks nice, if you can find it open.
