My stay has been excellent. I just wish they would make wifi and getting fixed quicker because I spent my whole stay without the wifi getting fixed. The staff are however super friendly, kind and extremely helpful

Drunk guests ruin stay

It wasn't the greatest evening. We were woken at 3am by drunk guests fighting in the room next door to us. Not sure why the security guard on site didn't call security sooner because the ruckus continued for almost 90 minutes but he seemed powerless to intervene. I left numerous messages with the owner of the establishment who eventually called me at around 7am by which time I had already decided to leave the accommodation because we had been intimated by these drunk guests. We were supposed to stay another night but didn't want to chance it. I was traveling with women who didn't feel safe staying there longer after being verbally abused by the drunk guests who came in the early hours of the morning. The owner promised us a refund we will see what happens. Very very disappointed.

Absolut dårligste service i byen.

Vi har rejst rundt i Afrika i noget tid og har boet mange steder både gode og dårlige, men det her var uden tvivl det dårligste når det kommer til service. Ved ankomst havde de ikke styr på reservationen og først efter noget tid "stoler" receptionisten på at vi havde booket og betalt. På værelset virkede tv'et ikke og køleskabet kunne ikke køle. ved morgenmaden havde vi hver dag diskussion med personalet om hvorvidt vi havde morgenmad inkluderet og endte med ikke at få morgenmad den sidste dag i vores ophold tiltrods for vi havde betalt for det.. Absolut ikke anbefalelsesværdigt, selvom stedet her en central placering..

Very friendly staff and great rooms

I loved my time at The Concierge. The room was very comfortable, clean and safe. Had an issue with the key a couple nights that was very promptly resolved by the staff. Everyone is very friendly and gave us advice for exploring the city. The location is a bit hidden away but close to Florida St.

Great rooms and good parking service. Need a car to get around but found a really nice place to eat close by recommended by the hotel. Rooms are well decorated and spacious. Hotel feels very safe

Cute and funky . Great value. Super hosts too. Plus Freedom Cafe is excellent for breakfast and lunch.....sitting in a peaceful garden setting.

Beautiful rooms!

We had a great time here, the rooms are really beautiful and comfortable. The big bathtub and overheard shower were our personal favourites. The establishment could improve by adding more towels and bath/shower gel in the bathroom. The TV was also a bit old in our room and unclear. Other than that, it was great and will definitely be going back.

We had stayed at the concierge quite a few times in the past, and always enjoyed it. Sadly, when we came this time we noticed a lot of changes. The room itself was not as well kept as before, and the entire vibe of the place had shifted. When we arrived I noticed an extractor fan in the room that we couldn’t manage to turn off ( and it was quite loud), when I went to mention this to the front desk they disregarded me and told me this was something that all hotels have. I understand that there can be extractor fans in bathrooms, but you can usually turn them off and they aren’t half as loud as this one was. We then went to go to bed that night, and our lights would not turn off. Something wrong with electrical. Thankfully they called an electrician who came around and fixed it that night, but then fixed the lights to now all go on and off with one switch. All in all, we were pretty disappointed with the changes at the concierge. They tried to repaint the rooms, but the paint job was done badly - and the room in general was just not as great as they used to be. Also, bummer about the freedom cafe, because the food has also gone downhill there. This is the first time I have ever given a bad review, but I just had to say how we felt about our stay.

Promising budget chic hotel in regeneration hood

Good budget chic hotel with cool design features in regeneration hood. Great cafe. New ownership may be a little rough around the edges around running a hotel. Hopefully they will keep maintaining its good design sensibilities as a budget chic hotel and cafe.

one of the most interesting places I've ever been

my room was front-of-the-magazine level beautiful. the bathroom was the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. the food was delicious and management was kind and professional. the walls were a bit thin, but for what the place offers it doesn't even matter.

Location it's not so good if you don't have a car. But the hotel it's so amazing that it's worth! Very nice architecture, design and rooms. The breakfast is delicious and it's is served in a very nice restaurant! You have a car parking inside the hotel what makes you feel very safe!
