Really exceptional hotel and staff.

We were really surprised how lovely the hotel was. Sometimes these “boutique” hotels don’t work for me but this was just lovely. Nice big room and great location. Dunedin is such a great place to visit too.

A fantastic stay

Very funky boutique hotel just stone throw away from the main shopping district and town centre. The room was very comfortable and clean, perfect for couples. The on site parking was a bit expensive, the cafe was nothing special but heaps of good choices nearby.

Great stay. We had the large 2 bedroom suite. Not a full service hotel, but is walking distance to ammenities. In an odd part of town very quiet.

In the right spot to stroll around. Beds are not the most comfortable! Staff is lovely. Hotle is environmentally friendly which is great but one inconvenient issues for me - bins not lined with bags etc, Sometimes you need it! Overall great stay.

Simply wonderful!

Brilliantly located for dining and shopping. Very modern, easy parking. The Ebb Cafe was absolutely the best hotel/motel style eatery we’ve enjoyed for breakfast and lunch. The staff in both the hotel and cafe were fabulous, efficient, friendly and professional. The Ebb was a highlight in our amazing 5 week tour of NZ.

We had a lovely experience at the Ebb-Dunedin. We got to check 8n earlier than most hotels. Loved the courtyard and the cafe. Clean, friendly, nicely decorated. Enough space to unwind. Highly recommend!

My stay at The Ebbs in Dunedin was fantastic. The hotel offered amazing amenities, spacious rooms, and the staff, especially the boys in the cafe, were exceptional. The convenience of the parking facilities at a reasonable rate was a bonus. I only wish I had booked my entire stay here. Highly recommended for a memorable and comfortable experience in Dunedin.

The room was warm. The bed was very comfortable especially the pillows 😍. Wish the bath tub was a bit bigger but otherwise it was good! No windows for fresh air, but I guess it’s for safety as the room is close to the road. Good overhead shower pressure. Location was perfect! The ambience and smell around the staircases was divine! Just don’t be tempted to help yourself at the minibar, drinks were a bit pricey 😁. Overall, worth the money spent for a night stay at the superior room.

High end hotel experience without stuffiness

Exceeded expectations. Beautiful building with outstanding cafe. Rooms were thoughtfully put together with great options on the mini bar. Well designed and comfortable. Only thing is that there really aren't views, but the window tinting helped.

The hotel located on the center of the Dunedin, due to construction, it is super hard to drive to the hotel and parking is expense. Facilities and condition are awesome while food is below my expectation. If you are enjoy city and want to explore the city by walk, it is a best choice.
