Vlaho was a lovely host, as well as the housekeeping ladies, especially Noemi who was very friendly! Also Peter, who made us feel very welcome and was very friendly! The view was gorgeous from where we stayed and it was a lovely apartment!

Great getaway

Fantastic accommodation. Breathtaking views. Peter was fantastic and helpful a little bit of a walk to the centre but not to far. Food in the restaurants was exceptional especially Dalmatinos.

We enjoyed our stay at Recidence Alpha. The views are stunning. The apartment was clean and a decent size for our family of 4 for 3 nights. The pool facilities were good. It was nice to be able to stroll into Cavtat. There are a lot of stairs and hills, but we already knew that.

Beautiful apartment, condo and incredible view. Only discomfort was getting up and back, there are about 6 flights of steps above where you can park a car. Even without luggage, it’s a work out. Host was very friendly. Just to caution that if you’re not physically capable to walk, well - it would be a struggle.

This place is amazing. Views are fantastic . Only thing is be in shape to climb the steep hill ( no cars ) up to it than stairs possibly to your room. Pack what you can haul up. The rooms were nice . Beautiful views a short walk to town.

The place has an amazing view and the pool is a refreshing touch. It was very clean and comfortable. Only downside is the cigarette smoke that would come through the vent/ air conditioner from the neighbors. Couldn’t sleep with windows open because of the mosquitoes so there was no escape from the smell. The place is located up the hill from Cavtat town center and is a 20 minute walk (if walking down hill) but you can always catch a cab if you don’t want to walk back up. All in all, the place was great and would have been perfect if not for the invasion of the cigarette smoke.

Nice apartments. Little hiccup on arrival as it was late, 2.30am, and person meant to be waiting wasnt there. But expedia (through chat) sorted it out and managed to get hold of the owner on what must have been some sort of Bat phone. And with in 10 mins we were in. Apartment was clean and modern, was ideal really. It was in alpha block which is some 150 steps from.beach up, but it is the only block with an unspoilt view, which was amazing. Few downnsides, kids were told no ball games in pool, even when they were only ones in and around pool, that was annoying and unecessary. Also no local supermarket, 30 min walk at least, but only 7 euros in uber.

We had a little problem with communication. I tried several times to make arrangements for someone to let us into the apartment. We arrived after dark and didn't see any markings to let us know if we were in the correct place. Someone came to meet us. Info in the listing does state that there is no elevator, but looking at the pics, I thought it was a two story building. Our building was on the 4th tier and we had to carry our bags up 80 steps in the dark. I'm glad I had a flashlight. Once we got into the apartment, it was very nice. Clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It was only a few minutes drive to the airport. I would recommend these apartments if you aren't 74 years old with bad knees.

This property looks good in pictures but the actual property needs some attention. Internal fittings were mostly either dated or literally coming off the walls (bathroom fittings). Bedding wise - blankets were given without covers!!! Parking - there is a small garage where you would park, but if you have a big SUV or more than standard size car, then you would struggle to park. Plus the apartment block we stayed in - parking was atleast 70 odd steep steps away from it. Local beach is great, quite and almost like a private beach. Kitchen - basic and has limited utensils. no oven or washing m/c, but has a micro, toaster, mini fridge and a coffee dispenser. Local restaurants are great and there are options for water sports activities too at a very reasonable price compared to other locations. The property manager was friendly but to the point! But I do want to point out, we reached very late to the property (past mid-night), but we had somebody to assist with the check-in and to hand over the keys to the apartment.
