My husband and I spent one night at this hotel before our flight the next day. The staff were very kind and friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable although we both found that the lovely king sized bed was hot to sleep in. We asked about the breakfast and we were given information about it. Later when my husband enquired about the cost, he was told that it was significantly cheaper to pre-pay than to just show up in the morning so we did pre-pay the night before. The hotel and grounds are lovely however we would caution that the hotel has no security and anyone can just walk into the hotel and walk around where the rooms are. Given that we were robbed in Dublin during this trip, we are much more cautious and vigilant now and would suggest that other travellers be careful in and around Dublin when they travel there. ( we were not robbed at this hotel just to be clear).

Beautiful building with lovely grounds, parking was close to hotel and easy access, our room was lovely, but would have been nice to have a view ofcthe gardens, couldn't find tea or coffees in our room, they were kept in a hidden tray under the kettle, no instructions howxto find, fridge didnt work, no bathrobes or complimentry slippers which you would usually get in a superior hotel, 3 little bottles in the bathroom to share, we had to use shower gel as hand soap, because thats all we could find, lovely big bed, very comfortable, but pillows are just flat, we had a choice of 2 menus to choose from, and choice was poor, we ate in the orangery, surroundings were lovely, but needs background music for obedience, staff were to keen to lift plates before you had finished, one young water spilt glass of water over the table and my phone, in his hurry to clear the table, but all in all staff were pleasant.

Had a fabulous stay for St Patrick’s Day weekend, the staff were so helpful and friendly. The property is gorgeous, would definitely recommend and would come back again.
