It is a very pleasant stay. i stayed there for 5 nights. receptionist and hotel staff are nice, helpful and cheerful. very good location as well, couple min walk to shopping street ( also very close to bus centre 👍). have supermarkets around if u may need that. will stay there again when i go dublin in the future

This is our third time staying at this property. We enjoy the location, convenience and amenities of the property. It is an easy walk to most things and just off a main road (O’Connell Street). Rooms are fairly modern although depending on which room you receive it can be spacious and others more constrained (due to room shape). We love the included continental breakfast option and have enjoyed this amenity each time we visited. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Really bad. Two person room should be one person. Less than One foot between beds and walls. One roll of toilet paper. Two towels. Did not empty trash. Window didn’t close. Miserable experience.

I really enjoyed my time at Point A Dublin! For what I needed as a solo traveler, the room and the bathroom were a good size. The room had an A/C unit, which was definitely helpful because it was really warm during my stay. Every staff interaction I had was not only professional, but genuinely enjoyable; it was lovely to meet people and hear their stories. Breakfast accomodations were delicious. My only issue was that the water pressure was somewhat weak, and the temperature couldn't get past luke warm. However, the front desk staff immediately sent a plumber to check on it after I called to inquire about it - the quality of the shower improved after that! Well done to the staff and Point A for making this a very happy and safe place for this first-time solo traveler. I'd 10/10 stay here again.

Very nice place, perfectly located. There are supermarkets nearby, and it’s only an 8–10 minute walk to Temple Bar and around 15–20 minutes to Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and other main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great window and a nice light control system at the entrance. The A/C worked efficiently. While the room might feel a bit small or tight for some, it was still perfect and offered all the necessary comforts. About the area: it feels generally safe. However, I strongly recommend avoiding Moore Lane and Henry Place, especially at night. Your GPS might suggest that route, but please choose another. Instead, walk along Parnell Street and turn left onto Moore Street, which runs parallel to Moore Lane. Moore Lane and Henry Place are poorly lit and have a few boarded-up buildings and parking lot access points. In the early morning or at night, some groups tend to gather there, and the atmosphere can feel uncomfortable or unsafe. My wife and I had a concerning experience walking there, which included inappropriate behavior from an individual. Please note that this is not a judgment of any community, and I do not intend to generalize or make assumptions. I’m simply sharing what we observed to help other travelers stay safe. Overall, our stay was excellent, and with a bit of awareness about which streets to use, the location is fantastic.
