It was a comfortable hotel. The staffing at the front desk was missing so the person doing laundry can to check us in after 10 minutes waiting for someone. The pool was nice but the slide into the pool made it unusable for everyone else as they would constantly be splashed. Perhaps a second smaller pool for the slide?

While the staff are incredibly friendly and caring, this hotel is really a motel that needs a deep clean and repair to its humidifier. It is damp and musty everywhere. The pool is dirty. You feel the sediment under your feet. The water is cloudy. Carpets hold humidity and odor. The room, aside from a newer couch and bar stools, felt old and dirty. It was absolutely overpriced for the quality. We were so uncomfortable that we left after one night of a two night stay. It was obviously a popular place for families as it was packed with many. It just was definitely not what we were expecting. However, there isn’t much to choose from in Drumheller for accommodations.

The housekeeping could have been better, when we arrived there was dust on the end tables/tv stand,as well as mens beard trimmings in the washroom,around the sink area.We had left for the day and arrived back around 230/3, thinking our room would have been serviced (as i needed more towels, coffee, garbages emptied, and our beds made) however they weren't done yet. I caught a housekeeper in the hallways and said "our room hasnt been done yet, i just want to make sure it gets done before they all leave for the day, i need the garbages and what not done" . She said she would do it. When we arrived back at 430, only the garbages were done and we had 2 extra towels. Our bedding was a mess, and the coffee wasnt re stocked. As a housekeeper, you should go above and beyond what is expected.Just because i said quote on quote "i just need the garbages and what not done" doesnt mean i only wanted the garbages done, we left our bedding a mess thinking they would get made. Also, towels are an issue. I made a suggestion that they should have pool towels readily avaliable for guests in the pool area, as having to use the shower towels available in the room leaves the guest short on towels to actually shower with. From what i was told, apparently they tried that but towels went disappearing more often. I had to make a stop at the laundry room every trip to the pool to ask for a few pool towels. Also, a clock in the pool area would be highly appreciated

We had high hopes for this hotel as it was highly rated but soon we’re very disappointed. Our room was very small (2 queen beds) but pictures on the website made it look like there would be a couch. There was not. The air conditioning barely worked…we had it set to 60 degrees the entire time and the room hardly cooled off. Our mini fridge either froze our drinks or didn’t cool at all. The bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way and the shower squealed loudly. The icing on the cake however was that we never had a room cleaning done our entire stay, even though it was requested each day. We were there for 4 nights and had to ask for clean towels every single day and request our garbage finally be removed. I was told rooms only get cleaned every 3 days unless requested, but when I said we had requested a clean each day it was shrugged off. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to an emergency back home to which we were advised to contact Expedia (who were marvellous by the way). Expedia tried to call the hotel and were told they were too busy to deal with them. It took Expedia 3 days to get through to the hotel only for them to say no to refunding us the one night. The pool was cloudy/dirty and cold and the hot tub was super hot and had sand built up on the bottom. The staff was friendly for the most part. Would I recommend this hotel? Unfortunately not.

We stayed during a family road trip. It was nice having the option to have three different beds. Convenient location in town. Breakfast had a great selection.

The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well appointed. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning system worked well. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast in the morning, as it was very crowded and no fresh fruit or whole grain offerings for cereal.

The lobby, hallways, breakfast area, & pool was clean & tidy. We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was not cleaned/refreshed the 1st day, the 2nd day we got clean towels, coffee, the bed made, garbage taken, used towels taken. No coffee cups left, nothing was cleaned in bathroom, & nothing wiped

Room was good but toilet wasn’t properly cleaned. Kids loved the pool with waterslide. Breakfast needs improving. Dining/buffet area cramped, food undercooked and no fruit. Staff was always friendly and helpful.
