The area is astounding. We took a boat trip to Garnish Island,15 mins . Basking seals on the way and a truly beautiful island that had been gifted to the nation by a man who created a remarkable paradise.Glengarriff goes straight to number one in my favourite places .」

「Friendly staff, great breakfast, I loved that we had a choice of full Irish, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or pancakes. The room was really large, bed was good and comfy. We could not get the heating to work, but kept the window closed to keep the room warmer. Shower pressure was not great, but adequate.」

The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary.」
