The place was easy to find and in a convenient location, friendly staff, the only downside for me was that my room was on a highly trafficked street so it was a little noisy… but overall good!

Great location, super close to bus and train. Sweet little town with good food options and interesting history. Rory and the staff were all really friendly and helpful—so nice to stay in a family establishment instead of a chain business! Will absolutely stay again if I’m ever in the area. Free breakfast was awesome and the garden area was really cute. Thanks for everything!

The staff and room was amazing. However the breakfast was instant coffee, toast, fruit, and cereal. The option on Expedia to pay for an upgraded breakfast doesn't change what you get.

The owner of the hostel was very nice and helpful. However, during our stay, it was very rare to find someone (himself or a staff member) to answer questions. The room was very nice renovated and cozy! Thank you very much! :-)

Dissatisfied

I requested a twin bed because my companion could not sleep. I am 76 years old and not able to enjoy stairs this place a a lot of stairs as we were placed on the top floor. But anyway , it’s over and still grateful to have a place for us.

Spoon and the Stars was a great experience all round, Really nice hostel with a great vibe and relaxed atmosphere. I travelled alone but meet really cool people and the staff were super cool & friendly. The kitchen is big for the size of the hostel and the showers are really cool and everything is well maintained. Top marks!!!! It's in a great location with good transport options. Drogheda was a nice surprise as i didn't expect to see and do so much and meet nice locals. Great alternative to Dublin but still close enough to explore!!! Great place to stay!!! Thanks guys
