The room was not large, but adequate, and the bathroom was modern with a nice, heated towel bar to dry your swim trunks if you choose to use the pool or hot tub next door. Breakfast was very good though there is no lunch or dinner served. The one walkable restaurant, The Black Bull, was a good choice. I would stay here again.
Stay was very nice. Building, grounds and room were charming. Bar was nice with solarium. Breakfast was exceptional with outstanding service. Would recommend staying at this establishment.
The property was beautiful and quiet. Everyone at the hotel treated us like family. The only thing I wish the property would have is dining for dinner and lunch.
Comfortable bed and spotless room made our stay pleasant. Friendly and attentive staff added to our experience.
Because it was our wedding anniversary I asked if the hotel could get me a bouquet of flowers for my wife.
This was not a problem and they were in our room upon our arrival.
Great hotel with a very comfortable room; hallways a bit “weary” but I think they’re going to redo them. Easy to find, and staff extremely helpful. The pool is awesome! I got to swim laps for the first time since I’ve been in Ireland!
Somewhat dated but still charming hotel in a tranquil nature setting. Not much interaction with staff, other than reception and breakfast staff, who were efficient. Disappointed that restaurant was not open and closest options for evening dining were too far to walk (especially in the rain). Leisure centre was fabulous - equipment, facilities and pool top notch. Only, small, complaint is that access required a 5 minute walk outside the hotel, which was not pleasant in the morning rain.
Great staff, free early check-in. Breakfast was excellent. That there was not a restaurant was no issue, as lots of local restaurants around town. Rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and spacious AND on the north side of Dublin's network and only 20 minutes drive in during rush hour in to the Dublin Airport.
