"Upon arriving in a rainstorm Google Maps led us to an affiliated garage next to the hotel. There were signs to get to the lobby, but the stairway was chained off. After calling reception I was guided to the hotel basement but not without exposure to the rain. From the basement it was difficult to find the elevator. Signage throughout this process was misleading and inadequate....Also misleading were the hidden costs: parking $20/day; no complimentary breakfast items - we grabbed some coffee, 2 pastries, and 2 fruits for a cost of $37.50. "

"I booked this hotel as a family of 4 because of the indoor pool. When I checked in, I was not informed of the pool being out of order. If I were told that, I would have made other plans right then and there. My daughter got dressed and ready for the pool only to find a sign on the pool door. Out of order. When I asked the front desk it was pretty much “oh yeah, sorry - our sister property is experiencing the same problem” there was no discussion of a resolution. I will be calling to speak to a manager tomorrow as there was not one present today during check out. Also, the homeless population in the area is outrageous and we were approached multiple times while walking in the area. I did not feel safe walking alone. I won’t be returning to this area. "

"We booked the Regency Hotel for a girls weekend, and it was awesome! The location is perfect! We booked two rooms, and both were spotless. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My niece had a spa treatment that she said was heavenly. We spent time at the Armory Lounge, and the bartender was as friendly as everyone else. We would definitely stay at the Regency again!"
