「Check in staff was very friendly. Room was spacious, clean, and the rustic decor fit the location. Nice Lodge was close to Cookie Cabin, General Store, Sawmill Restaurant, and having Beyond Bread when everything else was closing or closed.」

「We had 3 families staying just for a night after visiting Kartchner Caverns in Benson, Az. The hotel was amazing. A welcoming happy hour with drinks and snacks for the entire family. Plus a delicious warm made to order omlette in the morning before we all headed home. I will definitely stay here again. BTW our kids so enjoyed the pool and hot tub.」

「Room had a nail cutting, dead spider, dead bugs and a lizard. We asked the property to come clean in the morning & they agreed, however, they never came to clean. We reminded them the room needed to be cleaned & still nothing. The phones weren't working & the TV cannot stream.」

「The room was dirtier in spots than I would have liked.. there were a few bugs. The pool water was cloudy and had tons of people and children, food being eaten in the pool, balls everywhere.. kind of chaotic and not relaxing as we'd hoped. The adult only pool was small and had some people hanging around it playing music so also not peaceful. Massage was wonderful though and the quesadillas from the pool grill were good.」

「First time staying at La Paloma. Beautiful hotel and location and the staff were excellent. Air conditioner was noisy and so hard to sleep, but that was the only issue. Everything else was great!」

「We had a problem with our door key/locking mechanism and the desk was not helpful in resolving the problem. They wanted us to move from a Lahni upper pool view suite to a lower regular room facing a rock wall with zero compensation for the large downgrade in room. They would not call in a maintenance technician to replace the battery in the door. I got tools from my car opened the door mechanism, cleaned the battery contacts and the door worked fine. This took 2.5 hours ruined our dining plans...

「the place is obviously older and a bit outdated on the pullout mattress , the mattress was so thin you could feel the springs when laying down. it took a couple hours until i was able to actually fall asleep. luckily we just needed the stay for one night. breakfast was good but it was okay overall.」
