"The breakfast was wonderful! So many selections and a comfortable room in which to dine. We met several couples and enjoyed their company. The hotel is old and we had to weave through from one side of the building to the other. It was a bit confusing. The upgrades are nice, but we would have appreciated a small table where we could eat. There is a microwave and refrigerator so we brought snacks, but had to balance them on our lap and the foot stool. Thank you for a lovely bed and nice friendly service. Hugs, Sandy Czaja"

"It was a great place as I was traveling solo yet I felt safe. Staff was very nice! They offered great price for several of the things that you receive such as evening cocktail or mocktail along with appetizers and a breakfast. The rooms were clean and I believe spacious for the Price. The only problem is that I could hear my neighbors who had their TV up pretty loud during the night gaming. But otherwise great stay! "

"Lobby was fresh, The 2nd and 3rd floors though smell like mold and mildew along with the 70's. Carpet was not clean and you can definitely see the stains on the carpet. The building itself probably would not pass a safety inspection. The stairs bolts are all coming undone and loose, the masonry has been saturated at some point and the block is starting the deteriorate. The room ceiling had water stains as well. The doors to the stairs are locked 24-7 so you have to go thru the lobby in order to get into your room. They are definitely not the most affordable for what your getting in return. "

"Things were good until we tried to extend our stay. On Friday I thought I booked another night. When Sunday came around which was our original day to check out the staff member came pounding on our door and said we need to get out as we are late to check out. I was not there and my wife was rudely treated and packed up quickly and before I got her message and call the hotel she had checked out. The person at the front desk said she left and they found that I had booked an extra day but that didn’t mean everything was right. We will not stay there again."
