「 One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over.」

「Magnificent hosts. We love the French countryside and chateau Latour is placed strategically well for rides in the most beautiful landscape with fields, hills and forrest mixing constantly. No straight roads! The hosts serve home-made delicious food based on local products adding their own flavors. Our compliments to the chefs. If we pass this area again, we will certainly stay for some days.」

「A wonderful building and room accessed by a stone spiral staircase. Ticked all the boxes for a fabulous overnight stop over. The owners were very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was ideal before a days travelling and the homemade Jam was delicious.」

「Notre réservation a été refusée par la gérante contestant le prix de la chambre alors que nouss , nous avions bien reçu une confirmation de reservation et un reçu. Les negociations ont duré 1h10, impossible d'avoir de l'aide via le service client qui ne traite que par chat, nous avons perdu patience ayant roulé toute la journee, il faisait plus de 30° ce jour là. Finalement on nous a attribué une chambre. Nous déplorons cet incident qui nous a gâché la soirée et le manque d'aide du service...

「Everything was fine. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The old manor house is set in beautiful grounds. We enjoyed an excellent dinner cooked by our hostess and some good wine. We would be happy to stay there again. 」

「We needed to break our drive to Paris and we were so lucky to find this authentic country hotel outside of Moulins. It has a charming eclectic decor and lovely owners. We had a good evening meal and breakfast and a comfortable nights sleep. Would definitely stay again. 」
