Ok stay. Could do better

We were visiting friends. We had a skip outside our window. The room was very warm and even with the aircon and the fan going my husband struggled with the heat. I understand this is difficult but it wasn.t as warm as it had been. Also the pillows were like bricks. Little details that need attention.

Good hotel near the funeral parlor

Funeral well attended. Most were dressed in black, a few shed a tear

New manager

It was different as there was a change of management the day we arrived, lots of old mattresses leaving as new ones coming in. New manager was there sorting it all out. Would be interesting to go back in a couple of years to see how it has changed.

Weekend break

Although on an industrial estate the hotel was very good. Comfortable beds, clean, nice and friendly staff, breakfast more than adequate. Will return.

A decent stay in Doncaster

The rooms are very clean and spacious for what you pay, and the reception staff were very helpful throughout my stay with some unusual demands (I wanted to keep my bags at the hotel after I checked out for business and they welcomed this). The area is very industrial and can be quite loud, but the hotel is very good for what they offer. It is quite far from the town, so a taxi is almost certainly required.

Good value for money

Very convenient for race course, lakeside near for variety of food. Good parking, clean and comfy. Staff friendly reasonable price

Excellent hotel

This hotel stay was great. Probably one of the best we've had so far with the exception of the fire alarm going off at 6.30am :( The breakfast provided was of a very high standard and the meal we had on the evening of our stay was very good too. We will definitely book this hotel if we are back down in the Doncaster area any time in the future.

Standard hotel with great polite staff

Standard hotel with a pre-fab feeling. The staff were professional and the room was a good size. Breakfast was standard. Overall a good experience.

Family visit

Nice comfortable affordable hotel, would stay again. Room was clean, and facilities were basic but ok. Decent sized shower and TV and the bed was comfortable.

Cold Hard Stay

Room bed was very hard and my wife barely slept. Air Conditioning/Heating clearly wasn't working - a plug in heater was left for us though with no explanation prior to getting to the room of the problem. Trips to the bathroom during the night led to cold feet from the freezing bathroom floor. Not a great trip.

Great Hotel

problem with key as could not get in room to start with but this was resolved by a first class manager who moved me to another room which was great. Just on way to airport but would recommend. Great service thanks !

Hotel was great - the location not so much...

The hotel itself was amazing; spacious rooms and friendly staff but the location lets it down a little bit. It’s in the middle of an industrial estate so of you’re a light sleeper like me, you could get woken up by wagons at 7am. Bring some earplugs, but apart from that, it was lovely.

excellent location, great staff

Excellent location just across the road from Lakeside Outlet Shopping Village and takeaways such as KFC, Pizza Hut and Maccas. Also just a short walk to Keepmoat Stadium. Regular buses also available from Shopping Village for a quick trip into Frenchgate Shopping Mall and Bus Hub and train station. It's the second time I've stayed in this hotel, the staff and location are excellent and I'll be back for sure.
