"The room was clean and beautiful; however the air conditioning was not working properly. Maintenance came to fix it twice and stated it was fixed but it was not. They even offered to come in again during my last night but I declined because I didn’t want my day to be interrupted again and it seems as though the fixes were not working at all. The temperature in the room was tolerable during the night, so I wasn’t uncomfortably hot. I would recommend and even stay at this hotel again if I ever revisited Kona."

"Breakfast package was the worst, the resort was very nice. Some rooms was renovated and some was outdated, the food on the resort is high and limited. "This place exceed my expectations! The beds were comfortable, the place was lovely, the balcony was amazing, and the location was perfect! There was also a beach umbrella, chairs, AND a boogie board available to use during beach days which my kids and I greatly appreciated. The whole Waikoloa area is adorable with shops, restaurants, and a beach all within a couple minutes of driving. This was my first visit to Hawaii and I couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here! Also….if you choose to stay here, make sure to take a walk to the ocean in the morning at least once during your visit! It was my favorite way to start each day! "

The carpet is a bit dirty and the amenities inside could have been more abundant for its price. We almost ran out of toilet paper, body wash, kitchen paper towel and there is no sugar. The host is very responsive. Overall we had a decent stay. "
