Went to Dodge to avoid severe weather in Denver area and Wichita, loved the Dodge City museum. I'd highly recommend it. Then a delicious steak dinner across the in the old Merchantile building

Lots of construction, making improvements.Nice clean town, with an amazing history, but it is a cattle town that has an unique odor, so keep that in mind when going to visit dodge city.
