「Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.」

「We had a fantastic time at the Royal Oak. All of the staff were really nice and looked after us. We stayed in Room 15 which is on the top floor and is nice and cozy, very clean and had aircon. The complimentry tea, coffe and water was good quality along with the bathroom products which were also available at the shop in the main square. Breakfast was 10/10 in terms oif quality (locally sourced) and choice. 」

「Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.」

「Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. 」
