"Charming boutique hotel—cozy, stylish, and well kept. The staff are genuinely courteous and attentive, offering helpful tips and warm service throughout. Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay."
"This hotel is located near the port and you need to drive on a dirt road to get there , the hosts are ok but not professionally trained , hotel is far from different locations to visit the local beaches are very clean and small there are nice local tavernas and coffee shops town area is small . You definitely need a car ! The Island regrettably suffered from major fires in the month of July. "
"I have been to Greece over 100 times; have spent a quarter of my life there; this was one of the most pleasant stays I have ever had. The staff are amazing. Beyond helpful and I’d put them up to any staff at any other resort in the world. It should def be the only place you consider staying on the island."
"We had an amazing stay at Hidden Retreats Kythera. Penny has been extremely accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back again. Thank you Penny! "
"The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns. Regrettably a few inconsiderate camper vans wild camping despite the new law restricting them to only designated sites. "
