"We absolutely loved our time at Dive and Sleep. The rooms are lovely with a super comfy bed and the atmosphere of the accommodation is amazing with friendly attentive staff who are always there if you need them. The food is first class with fresh tasty dishes served daily. We had Jarda (one of the owners) look after us during our stay and he was so helpful with everything, you could not ask for anymore. The island we stayed on is peaceful with a small local population who are super friendly. You just need to remember to be respectful of the local customs and ensure you dress appropriately in public areas but there is also a "bikini beach" where you can sunbathe freely. The evening sunsets are beautiful!! The diving is really good fun and managed very safely. Every dive had sharks, healthy reefs and sometimes some fun currents to enjoy. The boat has an excellent captain and Mohammed (dive assistant on the boat) is the loveliest guy you will meet and is always on hand to help with the equipment etc. Dives are well guided by Jarda in our case and they were always so much fun as his enthusiasm for the underwater world is infectious. For me, this is the best value and authentic Maldives dive holiday you can have and I will be back!"

"Modern, beautiful property designed with intention for detail. Located in a quiet, yet central area. Outstanding breakfast and solid dinner/lunch options, on par with the best restaurants on the island. Stellar staff that provide great service throughout. Laundry service, bike/scooter rental & snorkling gear is available aswell. Hotel also arranged transfers and trips including drop off and pickup from the Harbor. Rooms were always perfectly clean. Only complaint we had during our entire stay, was the absolutely awful dessert in the restaurant, but if you stay away from that you will have the best possible stay on Dhigurah."

"Our stay had highs and lows. The best part was the incredible staff - always friendly and helpful. The hotel was also spotless, thanks to the amazing cleaner. Another highlight was its location, just steps from Bikini Beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful shoreline. However, there were several issues. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view but got a small window facing a brick wall. Management first denied the mistake, then blamed Expedia, despite Expedia confirming the hotel controlled the listing. The hotel refused to take responsibility or offer compensation. The bathroom had a persistent drain smell, which returned every time we used the shower. With no balcony or large window, airing it out was impossible. Breakfast was meant to be European-style but was a strange mix of foods—though you could order an omelette. Many excursions were cancelled due to low sign-ups. The whale shark trip, advertised as exclusive for hotel guests, was shared with 16 others from different hotels, some of whom paid less than we did. It lasted seven hours instead of four, with no proper food provided. The house reef excursion was lovely, but guides seemed more focused on filming for social media than helping guests. While the staff were fantastic, management lacked accountability. With better organisation, this hotel could be amazing."

"What a lovely guesthouse in Dhigurah. We spent 6 nights here and tbh we could stay here forever. Felt right at home from the start. Haseef and his crew were so friendly and Abel to organise trips and rides for us. I enjoyed the traditional Maldivian brekkie but only had it once because my wife don't eat eggs or tuna so we tended to have coffee and biscuits in the room. The area is very safe, it's close to the local Mosque so you will hear the prayers daily but we didn't mind that as it's part of their culture and we found it quite grounding. The guesthouse is in the village part so lots of locals living around you but everyone just goes on about their own business anyway. The room was always clean and although simple ie no TV, we didn't mind as spent more time either on the beach (2 mins walk right as you leave the guesthouse), on excursions or asleep. Highly recommend this place and absolutely would love to come.back. Maldivians are extremely laid-back so don't expect lots of contact beforehand to arrange transfers, I have OCD and must of sent a dozen emails and text messages lol."
