「Comfortable clean room perhaps in need of a face lift. Staff were very friendly and helpful with all aspects of our stay. Breakfast was cooked to order and really very good. Coffee was good, which we thought a nice bonus.」

We were very fortunate to have a room with veranda where we sat and just enjoyed the peace of our surroundings and the stunning lake. Breakfast was very nice as always and plenty to choose from. We didn't use to pool or spa as we were happy enjoying the sunshine and our veranda. Close to Chepstow Town centre. Friendly staff and easy check in.」

「The room was beautiful and spotless however some of the furniture was a little worn but it added character. They had the tea and coffee box well stocked and not with just the standard tea and coffee but with the flavoured tea and decaf coffee plus they had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as if you had forgotten anything you could ask for a guest pack (toothpaste, toothbrush, razors etc). On our first day we had and issue with the iron leaking, light blinking and not warming up so...

「We stopped over here on our way from south Wales back to the north west of England. It was a great choice. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was excellent. We also had dinner and breakfast here and for each meal the food was excellent. The staff were great too. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.」

「Sadly this property needs huge investment. The whole place is really tired. There was no on there to welcome us and they hadn’t sent us the door code so I had to phone twice before someone would pick up and then had to wait for the owner to arrive to let us in, not ideal after a long journey. We had a garden room - which had thread bare carpets with stains on, the most uncomfortable bed imaginable and it just felt dirty. I thought from the pictures this place looked ok, but I was very wrong...

「This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
