「Room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower was also spacious and provided good water pressure. We only saw one other couple during our 2 night stay so it felt very private. The coffee shop next door and food truck were also very convenient and delicious. 2 suggestions: a full-length mirror and a floor fan. The room got a little stuffy at night. 」

「Dirty!! Found a crab leg on the floor by the table in the room. No exhaust fan in bathroom, moid growing in the shower stall. Our room when you’d open the door was a view of the ac unit for the lobby area. Had a view of the ocean but it came with a view to the outside restaurants roof. Pair of scissors on the balcony looked like they’ve been there for several years. The pool is very small and the water looks a little on the green side. I will never stay there again. 「Everything was clean and the staff was warm and welcoming. We did have a very squeaky bathroom door in 419 . Also I didn’t care for the chime in elevator at each floor. Good coffee and nice breakfast selection. 」

「We had no idea just how wonderful this area and hotel could be! The beauty of the waterway, the wonder of the dolphins and the peaceful quality of the hotel, we loved every minute we were there. The walkways around the water, the dolphins swimming - it was all wonderful. The Shem Creek staff were all friendly and helpful and made our stay great. I found Shem Creek from reading novels about the area and am so happy we decided to visit!」
