The facilities are nice and the staff was friendly.
I booked through hotels.com and it said the hotel was pet-friendly. However, when I arrived at the hotel, there was a sign in the lobby that said pets were not allowed. When I inquired about this, I was told that there was a $75 fee for having a pet. This fee was not shown on hotels.com. Later, when I was in the pool, the staff informed me that they were incorrect and that the pet fee was $50.
Our room was great. It was warm, clean and comfortable. The shower had ample supplies of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. But at the sink, there was no hand soap. There was only a small amount of toilet paper on the roll and no replacement roll. When I went to visit the pool, I stopped to ask for these supplies at the front desk. They were given to me while I was in the pool.
We enjoyed the pool. It was pleasant, clean, and warm. However, one of the steps of a ladder in the pool was broken.
The fitness room was great. There was plenty of equipment, including treadmills, pelotons, dumbbells, exercise balls, and other strength-training equipment.
Breakfast was hot, fresh, and tasty, but:
* The coffee urn was empty (it was replaced while I was eating - maybe there should be more than one available).
* The plasticware was so thin and flimsy, we couldn't cut our waffles.
* The only banana was opened and overripe.
Would I stay here again? Yes, the hotel is nice. The room and pool were great. But there can be improvements.
