This was a fantastic hotel. We had an accessible room and the space was perfect for the person in our party who needed accessible features. My only problem was with the bed. It had a soft, squishy pillow top on the soft bed. If you prefer a super soft bed, this might be your perfect hotel. Everything else about this hotel was amazing. Very clean, nice and new facilities. Amazing staff members. It was such a nice stay!

Do not stay here!
The hotel did not look clean. Hallway smelled like vomit and there were stains everywhere. Room was not better, there were stains and it was not properly cleaned. Signs of missed areas were everywhere, door handles, carpet, corners etc. The bathroom looked nice but the walls were not clean, many scuff marks and hand prints, the fixtureswere out of place. The closet was very small. The beds were uncomfortable, we hardly slept. Would have slept on floor but it looked and felt very unclean, had stains and looked like it needed a thorough deep cleaning. After leaving and coming back the room just smells, we could not tell what it was. It was not wheelchair friendly. I chose this hotel due to previous experience with name but I guess in Michigan this is not the hotel that you should stay in. It was too late for us to change hotels. Staff was friendly.

The staff was wonderfully helpful! There was a slight issue in the room I checked into initially. I went to speak to Simone at the front desk and she was kind, helpful, and very quickly resolved the issue. In the morning, the staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

The facilities are nice and the staff was friendly. I booked through hotels.com and it said the hotel was pet-friendly. However, when I arrived at the hotel, there was a sign in the lobby that said pets were not allowed. When I inquired about this, I was told that there was a $75 fee for having a pet. This fee was not shown on hotels.com. Later, when I was in the pool, the staff informed me that they were incorrect and that the pet fee was $50. Our room was great. It was warm, clean and comfortable. The shower had ample supplies of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. But at the sink, there was no hand soap. There was only a small amount of toilet paper on the roll and no replacement roll. When I went to visit the pool, I stopped to ask for these supplies at the front desk. They were given to me while I was in the pool. We enjoyed the pool. It was pleasant, clean, and warm. However, one of the steps of a ladder in the pool was broken. The fitness room was great. There was plenty of equipment, including treadmills, pelotons, dumbbells, exercise balls, and other strength-training equipment. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and tasty, but: * The coffee urn was empty (it was replaced while I was eating - maybe there should be more than one available). * The plasticware was so thin and flimsy, we couldn't cut our waffles. * The only banana was opened and overripe. Would I stay here again? Yes, the hotel is nice. The room and pool were great. But there can be improvements.

A great place to stay but there's room to improve
This facility was a really good inn that promises comfort, friendly staff and a nice breakfast spread that will not disappoint. They would have got 4 stars minimum but for an unsightly toilet bowl growth on the inner frontal rim. Kinda had my mind running on a few things I didn't observe closely. I hope that was just a one-off but since I discovered this on our departure morning, I decided not to take it up with the managers. Hopefully this will be used to improve their otherwise sparkling experience.
