"The front desk staff were extremely nice. I felt very safe seeing security walk around. We showed up around 2 am. I was able to call and confirm that I could still check in with no problems. There was even free breakfast in the morning!"

Motel 6 Wichita Falls, TX - North

"We arrived at around 9 PM, and when I checked in, the attendant asked if a second floor room was acceptable (no elevator). I replied that, since my wife and I are senior citizens, we would prefer a first floor room, which he accepted. When we entered the room with our luggage, it was very dark, but there was no light switch where you expect one to be--just a blank switch cover. With the light from my phone, I found that the nearest light switch controlled a light above one side of the bed. There were 2 other similar switches in the room: one for the other bedside lamp, and one over a table. The room and the bathroom were spartan but clean, and the bed was comfortable.. The hand towels were clean but dingy and well worn. There was a refrigerator, but the customary coffee provision was missing- the attendant commented that coffee would be served in the lobby the next morning. The next morning when I was loading the car, I observed that the balcony accessing the second floor was apparently in bad shape and being supported by wood scaffolding. I slept poorly because of noise in front of the rooms by inconsiderate guests until around 2 AM."

"No free breakfast which was a disappointment. The hotel had a bar, and people were waiting to be served their coffee and other breakfast items to be charged on their room tab. I asked an employee if we had free breakfast and she said no. So, I will not be going to a Marriott anymore. LG"
