"I was rather under the impression I was booking a room in the castle itself, but we were housed in an annex a 2 or so minute drive away. The room was nice enough, but I feel the advertising was misleading. "

"We contacted the hotel for late check-in (after 7 pm) and were informed that they would reach out with instructions. Unfortunately, we were not contacted, and we were locked outside when we arrived at the hotel. Thankfully, someone working in the restaurant let us in and called someone to figure out how we could access our keys. The breakfast was good in the morning and thank goodness for the restaurant staff."

"Jag upplevde att det var lite väl mörkt (trots befintlig belysning) på gångvägarna mellan de olika husen. Eftersom jag bott här flera gånger inget problem för mig. Ett äldre par hade svårt att hitta rätt. Tips upplysta skyltar på de olika husen och vägvisning dit. Rent och fräscht. Svårt att förstå uppvärmning /fläkt i rummet /duschrum. Fantastisk frukost som vanligt. Har nu bott i alla husen och längorna. "

"This place couldn't be any lovelier, nor could the staff be any more welcoming and kind! What a great place for a romantic get away, a business retreat, a family vacation, a wedding, a retirement, a milestone birthday, or anything worth celebrating. "Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online). Staff and service was fantastic as were the views. The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property."
