"I was in Finland on business near Kuopio, and the hotels were full in that area. So, I opted to stay at Tahko Spa, about 40 minutes north. I was glad I did. My wife and I felt like part of the community. The apartment was immaculate and the staff was incredible. In all of my travels to 70 countries, the Finns are amongst the most warm and hospitable."

"We arrived pretty late and did not expect to be welcomed by the hotel's staff (we received check-in instructions in case the reception was closed). To ou surprise, they were waiting for us with a complimentary drink and a lot of friendly recommendations for dinner and activities in the area. They also changed our room for a bigger lakeside one with a great view. Our only regret was to only stay there one night."

"Easy to find , good location and very clean hotel, rooms had all one needs in short stay, a bit chilly this time of the year. Also some noises were possible to detect from next door rooms...isolation issues or just wild kids there at the moment..Lots of parking place. The jet pools were cooler than I am used too, but may be the norm for Finland. We took the optional Smoke Sauna. This was great and worth the 15 euros.
