「I saw cockroches in the middle of the night. Room is too cold without ability to adjust. Toilet paper on short supply. ( i had to go to the front desk to ask for one early in the morning) . No phone in the room.」

The first did not have the view that we PAID for, the second's shower overflowed into the bathroom, could not be fixed, the third room’s bed was not clean. We slept in urine and blood that was not ours. Needless to say, cleaning the bed was the least that they could do. This turned me off from this resort alone and for this, I will never return. 「I only had one knock about the place they offered us a package. What we paid for a breakfast and a lunch and a happy hour. It was a little underwhelming. I definitely would skip that doing this again. But other than that, the front staff was nice. The grounds were very well kept. It was very close to the main strip walkable. 「For over 15 years, I have been using the Rio Othon Palace 2x-3x per year. It is at a great location with many great restaurants, centrally located, shopping galoreand transportation options abound. The hotel has a great recently renovated rooftop with one of the best views of Rio's Copacabana Beach. The staff is very friendly and carries the typical 'carioca' hospitality. Awesome spot!」
