Vacation Rentals in Shkodër County

"Porte Alpeve is on the outskirts of Shkoder. The hotel is brand new. So new the reception staff seem surprised we were checking in. But staff were very friendly and accommodating. They lit a fire for us in the almost empty dining room fireplace. The rooms are large and have high end finishing. Unlike most places we stayed in the regions the TV gave access to streaming services. We got an exceptional sleep as the location is dead quite and the rooms are pretty much soundproof. "

"The staff here is absolutely phenomenal!! I fell a little in love with the girls at the front desk ((Ola, Marcella, and Estella). They were SO positive, kind, welcoming, and helpful! Fabiola at breakfast is also FABULOUS! The hotel is super cool! It's both modern and comfortable. It's located in a pedestrian zone filled with shops and restaurants. The bus stop is also an easy walk. A tourist information center is also an easy walk. Highly recommend!"

"Very well located hotel hidden down back street near centre of town. Plenty parking spaces in private hotel parking opposite hotel entrance. Walking distance to pedestrian street in town centre. Excellent quality and comfortable room. Quiet location."

"Property a little challenging to find but great access to things"

" We spent 3 days here and had a wonderful time. We had a terrace and lake view room that was very comfortable. It feels like a family run hotel - The staff were lovely and the language barrier was not a problem. 2 of the staff spoke excellent English. The restaurant/bar was good and the portions were impressive- especially the salad! The beach is stony and it can be quite hard to get into the water due to algae. Try entering from either side of the beach and using the rocks to help you into the water. We walked to Zogaj for a meal and drink and it was a nice walk - there is also a pontoon there for easy swimming. Transport is needed to get to the hotel from Shkoder - a taxi was €15. Would definitely stay again "
