「Staff delightful, nothing too much trouble. Nice and clean, and what you would expect from a 17th century establishment, and comfortable. Parking was secure and easily accessible. You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. 」

「Nice stay with friendly staff and the food was great. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy but it was extremely dated, the walls were also really thin, could hear everything in the adjoining rooms. 」
