"I felt at home during my first few minutes at the 5 Swiss Hotel. The staff treated me like family and I will never forget all of the wonderful people I met. Nadine, you will always be in my heart, as well as Sylvere, Mya, William. I could just keep going. Good food in the restaurant for dinners, wonderful breakfasts, and lovely grounds. A short walk to the free zone, which is great for shopping, grabbing some local food, or just walking around. Any day trips that you might want to take can...

"The hotel is not operated any longer. The building is used by the a university: AIMS African Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Finding this out from the guard at 1 AM after a 14 hour flight was not pleasant."

"When I arrived my reservation through Expedia was never reflected since they stopped using Expedia 2years ago. I was made to pay twice and advised to resolve with Expedia when I get back to USA"

"We had a wonderful night out of Kigali. Enjoyed the sounds of the birds, the view, the clean, comfortable room, the delicious 5-course dinner in a beautiful charming lodge. Had the best breakfast I have ever had with homemade yoghurt, cakes, jam, fruit salad, cereals, eggs, etc. Played ping-pong, baby foot, other games while waiting for the rain to pass. Nice little walking paths in nature all around. We are definitely planning on coming back!"

"Good comfortable stay. The hotel has a nice location (near embassies, President's office and the UN) but being on the main road is a bit noisy. They can also improve their maintenance. But overall good for the price."

"The staff was very welcoming and friendly, I enjoyed the nice room with fridge. There was a gym there too which was great to use. The breakfast had a great variety and the boy running the omelet stand was so good at his job. Only problem was the restaurant in the evening. I ordered soup and waited over 1.5 hours for it... That was not good. "

"Rooms like jail, window with a wall behind. TV from the 50s and not working No wifi available, bed wirhout matrix only the base, you sleep on the ribbons, fridge connection does not match with socket. I lost my money with that booking, I was only one night and had to pay other place. It was the more traumatic experience I have had."
