「Our experience was so bad that we stayed only one night instead the two we booked and paid. The photos of the property are absolutely misleading, there is absolutely no view from inside. The surrounding area is nice, just not from right at the house. The beds were absolutely horrible. And to add insult to the injury the host, located directly above the unit we stayed in, walked around and had conversations until after midnight. We could hear every word and it felt as if someone would fall thru...

「This is basically a large cooperative house. The rooms are small. There are shared bathrooms on each floor, and a large shared living room and kitchen on the first floor. The house provides kitchen basics and you can cook if you like. I stayed in a single. The bed was comfortable. I think overall a good deal for the price.」

Vorauszahlung erhielt ich den Code für den Schlüsseltresor nicht und musste umständlich telefonisch nachfragen. Dafür kamen im Anschluss immer wieder unnötige Nachrichten vom Eigentümer. Das Zimmer ist zwar nett, aber die Decke sehr tief. Wer grösser als 180 cm ist, kann nicht gerade stehen. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher um löslichen Kaffee zu...

「3-stöckiges Ferienhaus, das fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Schöne Location im Verzasca Tal in unmittelbarer Nähe vieler Wanderwege. Gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Voll eingerichtete Küche und Essbereich lädt zum entspannten Zusammenkommen ein. Terrasse v.a. bei schönem Wetter sehr gemütlich. Sehr sauber. Bad etwas klein. Direkte, unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Vermietern hilft bei der Klärung von Problemen und Fragen.」

「In theory this is a fantastic place. Logistically it is a nightmare. If you rent a car there is scarce parking if any and if you take public transit, your walk uphill is at least 15 minutes. The closest store of any kind is kilometers away. There are not screens on the windows and there are many bugs and critters so sleeping with the windows open is not possible. The summer heat makes it unbearable to sleep anywhere but the ground floor kitchen. So we slept on foam mats in the kitchen. There is...
