「This is a lovely, small hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a wonderfully walkable part of Trieste. Like almost every city, finding street parking is difficult. Thankfully, I found out there is one temporary space in front of the hotel to unload or load luggage. Then, I found out that they have some indoor parking available just up the street for 15 Euros per 24 hours. Also, they offer a discount if you want to park in the nearby underground Park San Giusto which is less complicated driving...

「There were 2 of us on this trip to Venice then the Dolomites. We flew into Venice around 3p. Getting transportation from Marco Polo airport was easy. We used a bus. It dropped us off at the standard stop in Venice. From there we were able to wslk while pulling our luggage for just a few blocks; however, one of the 2 bridges that we had to use to go over canals did not have a ramp, and it was a little difficult. 「Staff was the model of Italian efficiency. Which of course should not be confused with world class efficiency. When we got the restaurant bill, we were not changed for the salad my wife only partially ate as she wasn’t very hungry, I asked them to add the cost back. Instead they deducted it again ! I got even with them by leaving an excessive tip. Hotel design is unusual. Reception is detached from the rooms being separated by a street in the middle of town. Staff was always very polite and...
