「It looks like a nice hotel with big room, but almost nothing provided inside the room, no tea or coffee maker, no even shower gel, they charge you 5 eur for slippers」

「The location is a bit far away from city centre but there is free parking and a big shopping mall opposite to the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean and tidy.」

None of them are complimentary, however, so if you want to take advantage of all on offer, it’s like paying for the stay all over again. We liked it enough to book an extra night, but the management should seriously consider offering more complimentary use of the facilities, or at the very least significantly discounted. 「I stayed here because they accept pets. I thought they also had parking and air conditioning. They don’t have parking. Which would have cost me another approx 80 Euro for 2 nights. The draw to where I ended up leaving and going to another hotel was when I opened the bathroom door. It smelled of poop and mildew. I realized then it was time to go. They also won’t let you take the key when you leave. I get that it is quirky and in the French city center, but the bathroom smell was really it.」
