The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. The pool boys at the infinity pool were fabulous in helping us take photographs that captured the beauty of the area. The room was lovely and we had a fantastic view of Sigiriya and a jacuzzi with an outside view. Great base for exploring Sigiriya and the Eco elephant safari."

They were in the process of renovating but this did not deminish our experience. All the staff were friendly and the meals were inexpensive. We wish the new owner and staff great success as their attitude and attention to guest requests warrants reward."
