"Very clean, traditional Japanese style room with ocean view. Breakfast buffet was my favorite part. The hotel is simple, but beautiful. Hours are limited to the public bath (onsen) and restaurants. If you plan on using the public bath, there’s specific ours for men and women."

"I’m so glad we stayed at the Fairfield. The room was a good size with things placed perfectly to maximize the space. Facility felt new and clean. Laundry machines were awesome! There were also quite a few really tasty restaurants surrounding the hotel. Would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"Amazing price for our room and two meals! We stayed one night, with dinner and breakfast included at an amazing price, we were so impressed. The fact that you get free drinks at check in and with dinner is incredible given the rates in low season. Amazing deal! Please keep in mind that you really need your own transport to stay here. The hotel is off by itself, with great views, but nothing immediately nearby. "

"We had an amazing time staying at Il Mare Surfhotel Wacasa. We were greeted by the owner who immediately sat us down on the patio overlooking the water and brought us peach sodas and our choice of popsicles! He took pictures of us enjoying the view and when we were ready to check into our room we came inside. Our room was INCREDIBLE! Not only the beachfront balcony but the space was decorated with designer furniture that matched the lobby as well. We made fresh coffee each morning then went to the restaurant next door for a private breakfast served on the terrace. The food was amazing and the waiter was so kind! We spoke with the owner every day at least once, he is such a friendly person and you can tell he loves hosting and interacting with guests! I love the photos he took of us each day and he made sure to email them to us shortly after. This hotel was more than just a place to stay, it was such a lovely experience and we hope to come back one day!"
