「Very nice place to stay at this historical property. The facility seems to still be in the developmental stages as there are staff shortages and the grounds are not well-kept. I look forward to a finished product! Though pricey, the rooms are outstanding and the room amenities are very good.」

「I would like to be honest about my stay. It was very poor the first room I received everything looked up to pare but, the room smell of paint was bothersome. Not only was the paint smell an issue the water never got hot. I went to front desk and was greeted by Heaven who seemed pretty good until I complain about the water not being hot. Mind you I’m only in town for the weekend to work 16 hours shift. So I only wanted to shower and sleep. When I complained about the water temperature she stated...

「The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We stayed three nights, left for the weekend, and then stayed two more nights in a different (wheelchair access) room. The wheelchair rooms are HUGE! Breakfast was fine if not exciting, and the staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. We felt well taken care of. As an added bonus, you get 10% off your meal at the Fishin' Pig next door where we ate most nights, and it was spectacular, too!」

「Room 101 beds were clunky, and noisy, making godawful sounds. Bathroom fan is going to burn up a bearing as it makes a horrible screeching noise. You have part of a coffee maker in there but no pot and no coffee. We learned from last time we stayed here to bring our own K cup maker.」

「Michael was an excellent host. Property was clean and equipped as promised. Complete with Keurig and K-cups! Very quiet community, close to the places that we needed to go. High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend」
