"A well maintained property. Comfortable room. Excellent staff. Self serve laundry available at no charge. Room service didn’t have a service charge. Area around the hotel is save to walk during day and early evening."

"Absolutely amazing!! Female solo traveler. There is a store right across the street with cheap beer and liquor. But if not the hotel literally sells everything you need. Jacquisse & miora are the best staff you have. Very knowledge and English is great. We had many girl time talks and they’re hilarious. There are also people that come from the beach everyday offering boat rides and hair braiding, etc. I ended up doing both. Rooms are extremely clean. No bugs, nothing is dirty, soap shampoo and hair dryer in room. The room has great AC unit. You have two front doors for extra safety and keeps the cold air in. My flight actually got canceled so they accommodated me an extra night with a nice discount. My only downfall was the restaurant. I was hoping for more Malagasy food. The restaurant had a lot of American cuisine. And they ran out of eggs often for breakfast, there no pork or meat for breakfast. But zebu/ chicken with bechamel sauce is good option for lunch. Cannot go wrong for crepes either. Other than that amazing !! To get a taxi just stand outside the resort and wave down a tuk tuk or push push. And they will help you asap. Wish I had more time here. "Great staff, excellent service. Rooms could be a bit larger"

"The resort was beautiful. The beach, the pool were fantastic and the rooms were good. They offered some good excursions and the kids club team were great with our daughter. On the negative side, Andilana Beach Resort targets a very specific demographic, Italians. This should have been highlighted as everything was in Italian, including all the entertainment, which limited our enjoyment. The language barrier was also a bit of a challenge, as we spoke very little Italian and most of the staff spoke limited English. The food was also specific to the demographic with more pasta and pizza on offer than we could handle. There were a few other options, but the quality was average. The resort could benefit from incorporating more local cuisine more regularly. We did get local options on the excursions, which was really good. Overall, the resort was great, the staff were great, but we struggled with the fact that everything was in Italian, which we did not expect from a French speaking territory."
